Abstract

Abstract: Technological developments increase, changing from conventional into new media. One of the new media that uses mobile internet is social media. Wardah, an online shop and online store from one of the most well-known makeup brands in Jakarta do promotions and product selling by Instagram. This study aims to analyze the influence of Wardah Instagram social media on Wardah's consumer buying interest in Jakarta. This study uses quantitative methods with probability sampling techniques using simple random sampling to 170 respondents in Jakarta. Tests of validity, reliability, normality, linearity, simple regression, and determination are carried out in this study. Data was processed by SPSS program version 22.00. The results of this study revealed a positive influence on the use of Wardah Instagram social media towards Wardah's consumer purchasing intention of 61.6% and the remaining 38.4% was influenced by other variables not included in this study.
